How audio moves 02 / 09
Your voice goes through the host.
Headsets do not connect directly to each other. The Linux host routes your microphone to other headsets in your talk group.

Remember Your group decides who can hear you. Your voice is never sent back to your own headset.
Before you talk 03 / 09
Check that the audio route is ready.

Wear and power on your headset.Keep it close to the host during setup.

Wait for Bluetooth and duplex audio.The host operator can check connection and audio status.

Listen for the route confirmation.A double beep means your microphone route is active.
Full-duplex 04 / 09
Know whether your microphone is open.

Your microphone is live whenever its route is ready. Speak normally.

Push to talk
Hold the headset’s Play/Pause button to speak. Release it to mute.
If unsure Ask the host operator which mode is configured before you start.

Hold to speak. Let go to mute.

- Keep holding Play/Pause while your request is queued.
- Talk after the double beep confirms your turn.
- Release to cancel your wait or end your turn.
One queue per group Separate groups can have different people talking at once.

The headset button used for push to talk.
×Call or answerThese buttons do not activate push to talk.
×Keyboard buttonsTyping or pressing a key on the host is not push to talk.
!Three quick pressesIn full-duplex with PTT configured, this toggles your headset between push to talk and always open. Avoid it unless asked.

If you cannot hear or be heard.
01Check your button.
In push-to-talk or half-duplex, hold Play/Pause. In a queue, keep holding until the double beep.
02Check the connection.
Ask the host operator to confirm your headset is connected and duplex audio is ready.
03Reconnect, then try again.
After audio reconnects, release the button and press it again to request a turn.
Beep check The double beep confirms an active microphone route or your turn—not pairing by itself.
